Narrow edge foot

The narrow edge foot is perfect for precise stitching, stitch-in-the-ditch quilting, and joining the edges of lace and/or fabrics next to each other, for example joining the edge of a lace to the already finished edge of a fabric.
The metal lamella in the center of the foot holds the two parts to be joined at a constant distance.

Utilization:

1. Set the sewing machine for straight stitch. The position of the needle changes depending on where you want to sew.

2. For ribbed stitching, place the central guide of the foot against the edge of the fabric.

3. Move the needle to the left position you prefer and sew.

Point: straight point
Stitch length: 2.5
Voltage: 3 - 5

Quilting: places the leg blade in the groove created by the seam of union of the two fabrics. Move the needle to the desired distance from this groove.

Lace / fabric union: Place the edges of the lace or finished fabrics next to both sides of the foot lamella and join them with a zigzag stitch or decorative stitch.

Joining a lace to a fabric: Put the folded (or hemmed) edge of the fabric to the left of the central lamella and the lace margin to the right. Both materials should be placed under the foot, with the straight up.
The central lamella will guide the two materials at a regular distance, thus allowing precise sewing.
Select the zigzag stitch and sew taking in the seam both the edge of the fabric and the lace.

Adjust the width and length of the dot as you like.
