Open application foot 6 mm

Perfect for applications and other seams that need a wide view where the needle fits into the fabric. With this foot you can get beautiful applications quickly and easily. To achieve a hand stitching effect you can select a shell stitch.

Utilization

1. Cut pieces without seam margin. If the fabric frays with the help of a mask, stretch the edge turned downwards.

2. On the drawing iron a stabilizer with the back side of paper. Remove the layer of paper and iron the fabric to be applied on the bottom fabric.

3. Insert the open application foot and engage the IDTTM (if available on your sewing machine).

4. Select a stitch and guide the edge of the drawing to be applied along the inner edge on the right side of the foot, to get a smooth seam along the edge (use the mirrored image function if necessary). This operation hides the straight stitch in the seam to achieve a hand stitching effect.
