Fringe foot

With the fringe foot you create many hedgehog embroideries. You will get nice embroideries, very suitable for terry fabrics and velvet.

Utilization

1. With a fabric pen trace the design you want.

2. Put a stabilizer under the fabric.

3. Set the wire tension above 2 – 3 (loosen the tension until the coil wire is no longer picked up).

4. Select the zigzag. Length from 0.5 to 1.0. Sew stitches row after row. To make circles you need to work from the outside to the inside.

5. If you use thick yarns you must select a slightly longer stitch length. Always do a seam test.

6. When you are done, gently remove the work from under the sewing machine, holding the last loops of thread. If you pull too fast the loops will flatten.

7. Knot the threads at the beginning and end on the reverse side of the fabric. Use a sealant to prevent loops from being pulled.

Tip: This foot can be used to create soft spots.

Attention: the point width must NOT exceed 6 mm, but it must not be reduced below 2.5 mm either.

Point: Zigzag

Stitch length: 0.5 - 1 mm

Stitch width: 1.5 - 2 mm

Voltage: 2 - 3
