J foot for spinning

The J foot is used for stitches that are performed on the side of the fabric and that would otherwise curl or ripple the fabric.
The tab on the edge of the foot prevents the edge of the fabric from curling.

The Infodisplay Husqvarna Viking recommend the use of the J foot for many points to be made on the edges of the fabric.

1. Apply the J foot to overcome.
2. Select an overlock or edge point and turn the handwheel ring by hand to check that the needle does not bump the foot. Adjusts the width of the dot as needed.
3. Sew.
