Foot for Spanish decoration

Spanish decoration is suitable for all projects. It is used to join two fine edges. It is ideal for applying a border to skirts or curtains or assembling fabrics to make a tablecloth, for example. For the models indicated, the spacer for Spanish decoration fits on the normal seam plate.

Make seams with a decorated opening.

1. Iron a stitching margin of 1 cm on the edges of the sewing fabric.

2. Replace the normal seam plate with the Spanish decoration plate. Apply the white spacer to the front of the seam plate.
Insert the foot for Spanish decoration.
Thread the needle with decorative thread and lareel with polyester thread of the same color.

3. Align the stretched edge of the pieces by inserting the spacer on the plate in the middle.
Optional - place a decorative thread in the spacer groove.
Lower your foot.

4. Select a zigzag stitch, three-step zigzag or decorative stitch.
Adjust the stitch width to 5.0 - 6.0 to make sure the needle reaches the edges of the fabric.
Note: Do not use stitches with excessive lateral movement.

5. Sew by keeping the edges gently joined in front of the foot.
