The narrow hemming foot is ideal for precision topstitching work and for joining lace and/or fabric edges (e.g. for applying lace to finished fabric hems). The metal slat in the center of the foot keeps the two parts to be joined at a constant distance.

Utilization:
- Set the sewing machine for straight stitch. The position of the needle changes depending on where you want to sew.
- For ribbed topstitching, place the middle guide of the presser foot against the edge of the fabric.
- Move the needle to the left position of your choice and sew.
Stitch: Straight stitch
Stitch Length: 2.5"
Voltage: 3 - 5
Quilting: Place the lamella of the presser foot in the groove created by the seam joining the two fabrics. Move the needle the desired distance from this groove.
Lace/fabric joining: Place the edges of the lace or finished fabrics next to either side of the presser foot lamella and join them with a zigzag stitch or decorative stitch.
Joining a lace to a fabric: Place the folded (or hemmed) allowance of the fabric to the left of the center lamella and the lace allowance to the right. Both materials should be placed under the foot, right side up.
The central lamella will guide the two materials at a regular distance, thus allowing you to sew precisely.
Select the zigzag stitch and sew by taking both the edge of the fabric and the lace in the seam.
Adjust the stitch width and length as you like.
