Three-groove drawstring foot
This presser foot creates a raised seam over the pearl yarn or fine cord. Also fantastic on applications, which have a more outlined appearance.
Utilization
- Place the drawstring in the foot so that the front end is carried through one of the grooves of the foot, and remains under the foot on the back.
- Sew over the cord with a tight cord stitch.
Tip: You can achieve a fabulous effect by sewing over the cord with a different colored yarn. Special effects can be obtained by sewing up to three cords at the same time (using yarns and/or cords of different colors). Select three-step stitches, such as a stretch stitch, and adjust the width and length to fit the size of the cords.
WARNING: the stitch width must NOT exceed 7 mm.
- Stitch : narrow bead stitch
- Stitch length : 0.5 - 1.0 mm
- Staple width : 2 - 7 mm
- Tension : 3 zigzag dense
