Husqvarna Viking 920570096 Elastic foot with guide with IDF system

The elastic foot guides and secures elastic bands from 6 to 12 mm wide.
Use it for sportswear, lingerie and other techniques that require the insertion of elastic bands.

• Set the gray number on the rubber band foot to 3 or 4. Align the number with the small metal arrow. The higher the number, the tighter the elastic will be.
• Gently push the gray wheel toward the selected number and lift it up.
• Apply the elastic band into the opening of the longer groove at the base of the presser foot.
• Lower the wheel on the strap and secure it in place by gently pulling it away from the numbered dial.
• Turn the spool until the center groove of the roller reaches the entire width of the elastic so that the elastic can proceed straight.
• Apply the rubber band foot to the machine. Set the triple zigzag, length 1, width 5, presser foot pressure 7-9. (The higher the pressure, the more the fabric is gathered on the elastic).
• Place the fabric under the presser foot and sew. The fabric will be attached to the elastic as the elastic is pulled and secured in place. The higher the value set on the presser foot, the tighter the elastic will be.
