This 5-flute ribbing foot can be easily used on cotton, lightweight wool or heavy fabrics. Together with the double needle, you can create ribs to add a nostalgic touch to sheets, pillows, blouses or children's clothes.

This 5-flute ribbing foot can be easily used on cotton, lightweight wool or heavy fabrics. Together with the double needle, you can create ribs to add a nostalgic touch to sheets, pillows, blouses or children's clothes.
Usage :
- Insert the pintuck foot
- Insert the double needle
5 - Grooves: 2.0 - 3.0 mm Dual Needle - Thread the double needle (see the threading instruction manual).
- With an evanescent pen, draw the positioning line for the first rib.
- Sew the first rib. When you start the second rib, make sure that the first one runs parallel to the groove of the presser foot. This will produce a smooth spacing between the ribs.
Tip: If you want to increase the effect of the ribs, you can attach the rib tab (special accessory) to the front of the needle plate. The rib tab pre-shapes the fabric by lifting it up to get a higher rib before sewing. The result is an even more defined rib.
