• Thread the needle with sewing or decorative thread and the bobbin with sewing thread or bobbin.
• Insert the S-foot.
• To make a straight seam, draw a center line on the fabric with a pictogram pen at the center of the seam.
• Select a point from the K (Fantasigrams) or H (Streamers) menu.
• Place the fabric with the Tear Away Tear Away Stabilizer under the presser foot. Lower the needle to the line you have drawn. Sew slowly and let the machine control the transport. Press Stop occasionally. The machine should stop with the needle on the drawn line. If the needle is out of line, put the fabric back in place.
• If you have made a festoon hem, cut the outer fabric to the festoon.
• Tear off the stabilizer.
