The foot to apply elastic guides and stretches the elastic bands tight (6-12 mm) while sewing them on the fabric. It is perfect for sportswear, lingerie and other techniques to insert elastic bands.

Recommended points :

Four-wire overlock.
Narrow three-wire overlock.

Use default settings ( See instruction manual )

Guidelines:

1. Prepare the sewing cutter for the desired stitch.
2. Loosen the screw on the front side of the foot to apply elastic bands so as to reduce the
tension on the roller. Insert the elastic into the foot.
3. Mount the foot and pull the elastic until it reaches behind the foot.
4. Tighten the tensioner screw to stretch the elastic.
5. Turn the handwheel to sew a few stitches and stop the elastic.
6. Place the fabric under the foot and sew together elastic and fabric.
7. Check the point and, if necessary, adjust the voltage.

Note: To adjust the tension of the elastic:

• Turn the tensioning screw to the right to increase tension
• Turn it to the left to loosen it.
• Be careful not to pull the fabric while sewing.
