• To assemble, select Medium Non-Elastic and Assemble on the Sewing Guide, or place the needle in the center and select the straight stitch. The small assembly-specific presser foot opening requires the exclusive use of straight stitches or quilt stitches with a hand-effect.
• The transparent quilting foot with side guide has red notches. Notches help you align the fabric at the beginning of the seam, in the corners, and on the edges.
• To start sewing from the edge of the fabric, place the fabric under the presser foot and align the raw edges of the fabric with the presser foot guide. Sew keeping the edges aligned with the guide.
• To start sewing 6 mm from the edge of the fabric, align the edge with the last notch on the presser foot as illustrated. To start sewing 3 mm from the edge of the fabric, align the edge with the next notch.
• To finish sewing 6 mm from the edge, stop seam when the front notch of the presser foot is aligned with the edge of the fabric.
• To use the transparent quilting foot with side guide to rivet a finished edge, align the guide to the right of the foot with the edge of the fabric. Sew.
